No, I won't critique the colouring because that's really good.
Anyways, the major issue I have with this is the eyes. They almost look like 3/4 profile, but at the same time not. The right eyes's pupil and iris is far to narrow, especially considering the angle her face is at.
Other wise I'd just darken the lower colours a bit (define them,) but like you said you just started with this type of utensil...
