This is just straight up more busted than the original Progenitus XD Still costs 10, but this is so much harder to cast due to the lack of a 10-symbol color density. So, then you can just -5 right away and win the game, since your opponent will likely concede after a one-sided Wrath + Armageddon, essentially making it a sorcery that exiles all permanents target player controls.

Awesome joke card there. Progenitus was a rather silly creature, the line protection from everything was rather funny. I think Emrakul may have eclipsed Proggy though in terms of sillyness though.

true, cause you have the ability to give Emrakul a Darksteel Plate to make him indestructible, cause you can Day of Judgement, or something like that to get rid of Progenitus, and Emrakul makes people sac 6 things... so that hurts a lot more than 10 damage most of the time.

I think the fact that Emrakul gives you an extra turn when you cast him is really lethal. It means your opponent will be getting a 15/15 annihilator 6 flier and whatever other creatures and Eldrazi you have out before they can do much about it.

yeah, but then with that, some one can just have a Dispense Justice, or one of those new fancy "Act of Aggression" or Metallic Mastery or Act of Treason... or Traitorous Instinct... or Mark of Mutiny... and then Blightsteel is not your friend :3

I guess...but it's still silly to have an 11/11 infect creature with trample that you can cheat out easily with Shape Anew. Besides, if you're playing blue you'll likely have counterspells for those cards.

I've not heard of that combo.
I know the Polymorph deck in standard was rather stupid, which is the basis of the Shape Anew deck with Blightsteel. I was amazed that Wizard's made a similar combo for standard after all the Iona madness.
Infect is very brutal atm, I've seen a very sick standard competitive deck that uses Livewire Lash with infect creatures, and using a spell from the Eldrazi set that gives them +2/+0, makes them unblockable and has rebound, as well as Tainted Strike and another black pump spell.

And that's why Red always wins, cause Infect creatures= weak, kill 'em with a Burst Lightning/Bolt/whatever, Shape Anew= Shatter the chosen artifact to sac to make the spell fizzle P:

I have a red burn deck and I feel very guilty playing it. Unless my opponent has the white leyline and/or stuff with "protection from red" I'll win every time.
A really brutal red deck is the one that uses Kuldotha Rebirth on a 0 mana artifact and other cheap pumpy red creatures to mangle you in the first few turns. Yeah...red is nasty.

It was really complicated... and i dont really remember it well... but it involved a goblin guide, ONE mountain, two Memnites, a Mox Opal, a Kuldotha Rebirth, and...a signal pest... and then i think you have to draw a lightning bolt xP but, he actually got it on me ONCE, and then I was like "wat"

I've done that, except my friend was using Allies P: Quest for Ancient Secrets kept that game going for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG while xD but then I finally got him with an Archive Trap

Urgh, things that shuffle your graveyard back into your deck are annoying for mill decks, but that's why I had cards like Ravenous Trap, Bojuka Bog and Leyline of the Void in my sideboard ready for such occassions. Heh heh.
