I don't think I realized until I rewatched the little Mermaid recently just how much it's had an impact on my art. Not necessarily in art style, but more of the theme of fantasy and especially Ariels wanderlust. I find alot of my art centering around the need to explore a new world, ya know? Out of all the Disney films, this one's definitely influenced me the most.And the way her hair is animated is so captivating.
