Description cosplay/photo: myself

character: Morgana from: Merlin (BBC)

the base dress is finished ^o^
next step: belt ... @.@

I know the fabrics are not the very same colours, but I didn't wanna spend more than 50,- on the whole thing ^^° so I used only fabrics I still had XD (the most expensive was probably the creme fabric of the sleeves <.< 25,- per metre ^^°)

will wear this at the bookfair in Leipzig (LBM) ^^ in march :3

This is absolutely stunning! I've been contemplating a Morgana costume, but I can't find a suitable pattern for her sheer "jacket" thing. How'd you go about patterning yours, if you don't mind me asking?

oh, I had a pattern and altered it ^^
hard to explain, but make sure you make the front bits long enough so you can actually knot it together in the back - it has to go around the body once ^^

I noticed that, I'm sure an alteration can be made for those... was it a robe pattern? I'm just trying to find something to use as a base to alter @_@

no, it was actually "burda Schnittmuster 2493 Josephine" (schnittmuster = sewing pattern)
I used the bottom one the girl is wearing on top over the dress :3
I split the front into two pieces and made them long and going thinner so u can put them around yourself ^^

well, you know how they say: No one is born a master.
you can always learn (I started sewing in 2005 just so you know so I've been doing it for some time already and still have a lot to learn)

lol, noooo - even if it were to fit you it's hard for myself to say bye bye to anything I made ^^° (since it was such hard work ^^° - and I doubt you could even pay it XD even though I went mainly with cheap fabrics, it won't be under 100,- € in the end ^^° - because of the work I put into it - like two weeks of nonstop sewing and crafting LOL )

Meh. I'm gonna try and make a Medli cosplay (from Legend of Zelda: Windwaker) from scratch in just over a week. Its not gonna work seeing as I've not got any white material to make the scarf from and I don't have a paypal account to make the black and yellow socks. And I'll never be able to make the beak or the harp. I think my hair is the right colour for her hair though.

I'm not even gonna try to make wings. I don't think she has any though. I can't remember.
(I don't think.. I know ;D It doesn't matter about that though. You'd still make a great Amy!)

I like Morgana's hair now she is bad though. I like it better than when she had it when she was good.

Naah. It wouldn't fit me at all. And I don't have money. I desperately need a job, but I can't get one. Everyone I know that has a job has two or more, which I think is very selfish of them since there are thousands of us without jobs. Bah! They are very cruel not even letting me into an interview though.

Zur Buchmesse gibt's die Assassinen-Rekrutin nochmal, dazu hab' ich ja schon Fotos hier in der Galerie. Keine Zeit, was Neues zu machen, Animuc ist ja auch bald...

Neenee, keine Sorge! Das nennt sich nur tatsächlich in Fachsprache meist so, wenn der Saum so Wellen/Wellchen schlägt und ist ein Effekt, den ich (vor allem bei Rollsäumen an Röcken) sehr gern mag. Schief genäht schaut anders aus. Find es echt hübsch geworden!
