Actions speak louder than words and your actions here on this piece is outstanding. Sorry I have to play catch up but out of the last five this portrait is by far the best. I may be wrong but it certainly looks as if you were paying close attention to the levels of shading. Actions aren't always better than hearing, ever watch somebody playing the piano and you couldn't hear any music?
