My entry for the "Heroine of the month" topic in the Disney-related group .

It's a contest project and an opportunity to create something around one character. Now it is Pocahontas, the native American princess out of the movie series of the same name.

Here, I did not take a screenshot of one of the movies but the comic book in my collection (which is very beautiful IMO since they made the people and natural environments look more realistic, which makes me relate more to the nature shown there...but it does not mean I dislike the movie's design!).

This is where Pocahontas sits and talks with John Smith and her friend Grandmother Willow (both not seen here). And of course, her animal companions are also there.

Done with tablet, SAI, Adobe Photoshop and watercolour.
