More Adventure Time fanart...ah I love this show so much!!!!on a personal note...there are a few issues I have with this piece (Finn's face and The Ice King) But overall I think this may be my best piece yet... I am getting a bit better with dynamic pics like this!

I really like what you have done with this piece. There aren't too many problems that I see here...
The overall composition is really nice and tight. I have to disagree with the comment about the background being "done up", as this would interfere with the gestalt of the image. BMO's little emote bubble is a little bit too heavy for the composition. I would suggest making it a different color; perhaps you could pull out a less heavy color that is already in the composition or a color that compliment's the color of Jake's pelt.
I think you did a really great job with the character's movement. I think that the composition might be a little to character heavy on the left, however you created a nice balanced composition by placing BMO at the bottom right and using Jake's body as an anchor for the right side of the composition.
I really like the movement of all the characters, however it would make the composition stronger had you given Bubblegum just a tiny bit more movement. It would create a little more visual interest, and tie all of the main characters together. She just looks really stiff!
I am really digging the Ice King's nose...Seeing this really makes me want to do my own f'narts!

Vision
I must say when I saw this, I was like "OMG THIS IS LIKE SO COOL" But I'll be a bit more 'professional' on this critique xD

Yes 4 not because I'm trying to be nice but because there are so many awesome things in this drawing.
Originality
I've seen TON'S of AT fanart,but I really think that this is one of the most complex ones I've seen I mean most people just draw the characters standing doing nothing,maybe smiling but that's it. I'm not saying that's bad but there has to be some action in the picture! This picture looks very original! All the characters look like they are genuinely having fun! So I'd rate originality 4/5~
Technique
The colouring is pretty amazing in this,Like most parts have lineart and are shaded extremely well but the bats and hearts are lineless! They look really really good! I've already told you how much I love your lineless parts e.deviantart.net/emoticons/e/e⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
The blue part at he bottom looks really cool too! The mountains look fantastic! <3 I love he detail and expression! So I'll rate this section 3.5/5 as well,I would rate it 4 but I've been noticing that many places you try to cover your fingers by drawing the hands in a grip like position but you have improved,don't worry!
Impact
I think everybody will agree that this is a dynamic picture! So the impact obviously is great! So definitely 4/5 for impact!
The only things I think you should work on are the hands as mentioned before!

I really like what you done here if ever there was to be an anime or manga version of Adventure Time with Finn & Jake I would expect this to grace the cover.
The characters are just lovely with an anime style that would make people shout kawaii from the top of Mt. Fuji. The flair and emphasis on the Ice Kings expression and features is great, Finn has a face that would melt fan-girl hearts, Marceline and Princess Bubblegum are very realistic and feminine. The shading is perfect acknowledging a single defined light source and complimenting the character poses very well. The Fiona & Cake fan-fiction book is a very subtle but resonating reference that was well included.
As with any critique I have to point out what I see as flaws (don't worry there are only like three) first Jake looks a bit strange to me I don't know if that was just your style, but I can't really put my finger on what it is. Second the background could have been done up a bit more although what you have is well incorporated, and third the (<3) text bubble could have been less intrusive.
Overall this is a great piece but as you'll see the only place you dropped was originality as I myself have seen quite a few renditions of Finn & Jake characters in an anime format but that in no way detracts from the skill and quality of what you've created here.
