omg im awful at shading and colour i have 2 types of photoshop i only use one but you cant really get all the colours you need

I got Photoshop CS3 Ex from a friend and I can't even figure out how to do lineart, much less color and shading. But it's good with my scanner, so I keep using it for scans. (I need tutorials or something)

i have photoshop cs4 and photoshop 0.7 i always use 0.7 dunno why i just like it better
im working on some line art now its too hard

I found some . . . but they're all the kind of "drool over my art and go continue to suck at your own" style. Okay, no one says that, but I'm just horrible at Photoshop. I tried lineart in Gimp and failed, too.

GIMP isn't as good as Photoshop, but it's MUCH more simple and plenty cheaper (actually it's free).
I don't have a tablet yet. I'm still trying to decide which one to get. Wacom Graphire seems to be the best right now, but I'm not sure. If there are tablets designed specifically for artists, I'd look into those.

I'd hope so. If I made a YouTube video on drawing on PS with a mouse, it'd be called "Most Epic Photoshop Failure Ever".
Yeah, it's 16. Fifteen for some things like mopeds, but they're seasonal vehicles and I don't have a motorcycle licence.

Well, 18's a safer age than 17, but I don't think the accident rate would drop too much. It's only a year's difference.

I like it here. But whatever you do, don't move into a big city when you come. Besides all the gangsters trying to mug you and whatever, you get kept up all night by sirens, screams, street races, etc. Okay, slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. Move to a suburban area or the country. I prefer suburbs, because I can't get Internet in the country (Yay! Internet Cafes!).
I'm gonna shut up about the president because his side of politics sorta controls the country (and YouTube [0_o]) right now. I could be in jail tomorrow. Sheesh, freedom of speech, dude!
And I get the feeling that wasn't what we call "shutting up".

i live right in the centre of my town and surrounding me is a lot of clubs and i mean a lot so the noise doesn't really bother me (im a heavy sleeper LOL ) awwww i havent been to an internet cafe in ages lol

I dunno. Until I was 7 I lived on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan's #1 crime attraction. My dad was a police officer, but back then I wasn't old enough to understand anything. Now I wish I would've asked my dad to tell some stories, but now that I understand it, he doesn't tell me as much.

Probably. I wish someone I knew was a graphic designer. Earlier today I played around with Blender3D and couldn't figure out how to select individual vertices one at a time or unselect extra ones. (3D attempt #1: 75% failure, 25% success) I managed to make a house, though.
In two weeks, I won't be able to get online for a long time, and when school starts, probably only when I'm lucky. So I gotta get all my new uploads done in 2 weeks.

Blender's a 3D modeling/rendering/animation/game-making . . . w/e program. Basically it's that really fancy stuff you see pros using, but for free. And it's complicated. I'd be lost without tutorials.

yhr youtube is good with tutorials but some tyms youtube has like tutorials with music so you cant really see what is going cause the dont explain it properly

It's a laptop and it gets a 2.5 gaming rating, which is way lower than I want. My dad got a cheaper one that's 3.8 and I'm currently thinking of how to trade his with mine.
Actually, downloading is a Internet thing--guessing you know that. My wireless card is just the same as everyone else's as far as I know. Right now I'm at a hotel in Ohio, but usually I get Internet from an Internet Cafe in Michigan.
As far as tutorials go, I'd check fanforums as well as Google, YouTune, MegaVideo, etc. This site is pretty good with that kind of stuff, too. I came here on recommendation for Photoshop tutorials. Ironically, I haven't looked at any yet--just anime.

Yup. Holiday at a religious (Christian) convention in Ohio. Leaving on Sunday, back to the big green mitten. Ten hour car ride. What a blast. I'd stay in the back and check out all the stuff I downloaded, but I gotta get my driving hours in.
I find tutorials by searching Google, and just linking like a madman hoping AVG does its job.
Yeah, I watch TONS of anime, but I read more manga. You can't find too many anime download sites, though.

PC and Mac--two competitors that will never pull ahead. I like Mac's graphics compatibility. It's great for 3D business, so when I get rich (oh, yeah, I can dream), I'll probably buy a good one.

MangaFox has more manga than any other site. I look for the ones labeled popular, but they're all yaoi or something like that.

I'm all but immune to carsickness. A lot of people can't read in a moving car, but I actually like it.
Animes I liked . . . hm . . . actually, I'm more of a manga guy, but the first anime I saw was Naruto. Then I watched Bleach, then Code Geass, Death Note, and Black Cat. Then I watched Elfen Lied and learned just how far anime could stretch before it reached the point where I won't watch it (Won't watch extreme hentai).
I got into a lot of mangas. I have 30 something on my hardrive. I really like Black Cat, Ikki Tousen, Rosario+Vampire, and History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi.
I'd just watch anime on streaming sites, but I don't have Internet at home. Lucky me. = P At least I have more time to draw.

Bleach . . . hm . . . I did lose interest after I read all the way through what's currently out. Last year I was really into it and I thought Hitsugaya was awesome. Then it kinda got repetitive, with Ichigo always looking like he's gonna lose, then his sword saves him or he goes hollow.
Naruto's not one I got into too much. I like what's coming out in Shonen Jump now, though.
I haven't read too much shojo stuff besides Vampire Knight. I heard Fruits Basket was really good. I think I'll download it when I'm done here.
If you like shojo stuff, I'd recommend Haruhi Suzumiya. It's currently my favorite anime. Just overlook the awkward bits and it's great. The animation is unmatched and the art is really good. The story is a bit confusing unless you read/watch it more than once.

Hitsugaya is a character in Bleach. He's everyone's favorite.
It doesn't make you sound dumb. Some anime is harder to grasp. Try the manga if Shuffle if you want some confusing stuff.
I'm reading Lucky Star right now. The manga is mainly all chibi, but it's awesome. I like it.
