Description This is one of the portraits I will be making for my children's teachers this year for Christmas. This woman is the mother of my daughter's first grade teacher. She was a nurse at Children's Mercy, but recently died from cancer. It should be a great surprise, because I found the photo on the web with the obituary and the teacher has NO IDEA that I have it. I LOVE those kinds of surprises!!!

Thanks!! It's hard to choose colors when the original is a black & white.

It might be sweet, but it is one of the best ways to get publicity, as well as, thanking my children's teachers for putting up with them all year! LOL!!
