I can see the posture signalizing surrender, but I can't see the promised freedom yet. And I have one question: surrender to what?

Reality! It is not good to walk about without your eyes open. Upon standing tall one can see the world in front of them. Maybe this one needs a sequel

So the surrender would be to straighten oneself und open one's eyes.... you know, for me this bent posture itself looked like the surrender.

It is that pose that invokes the surrender theme. If I had her the other way it wouldn't work. This way I get the thought across.

I am very fond of the way you manipulated this piece. I think the subjects form, as captivating as it is by itself, is made especially profound by the use of the colors and textures you've chosen.
