Hmmm... Anyone heard of the game The World Ends With You? It hasn't come out yet, but I thought the art was... interesting so I pretty much copied it. This is the main character. Note his gorgeous hands that I couldn't draw to save my life.We have problems with his shorts, the proportion is a bit off and his shoes are ghetto. Aside from that I don't mind this drawing much.
EDIT: Okay this is so so so so old but I keep getting favorites on it! Seriously. This is crap, people. WHY do you like it!?!? xDD

I recognised it straight away from the thumbnail, so you've obviously done well. Tetsuya Nomura is one of, if not my favourite artist/designer and you imitated his style nicely. He is really excellent with hands isn't he? I don't blame you for getting frightened by them, I used to always draw little stumps for hands too.
Do you know what the game is about? I don't... have only looked through the concept art. And what is the japanese writing on the side saying?
