Description my new year pic..!!!! super late!!!!
i started the sketch on 2nd of jan
and yeah.. i did take a long time. T-T thank goodness i'm done

sketch- pencil and eraser (2 days)
lineart- oC1.1 (a lot of time)
colors-ps8cs (it took the whole day.. even though it's simple.. *A*)

Thank you everyone who has commented/faved/watched me!!!!! it really mean a lot to me. thank you~ this picture is dedicated to everyone who has supported me. ^^

HiiII!! This is a random person. I was looking at my friend's computer and she showed me all your art. So I asked if you had a deviantart and she's like "maybe" ...so we went through all your art to find any clues of your DA...yeah we found the term "xlory" and used it to search on the DA search engine hahaha and den found you.

Um you remember a girl named Sera Yoo from LEAP 2006 summer?

And I wanna say...you have nice art. The style seems to bend towards ANIME hahaha I <3 anime...BTW Just wondering. You going to SAKURA CON!? It's an anime convention in Seattle

I am considering about going to SakuraCon. My friend and I were thinking about going to it since long time ago... I think I'll end up going if I don't have anything big planned on that weekend and if my friend goes. ^^

I love this! I really do! how do you draw the lineart? Cause I have hundreds of drawings I'd like to color but it's hard when it's pencil drawn ><

No, no! I understand!

Well, I used OpenCanvas1.1 for the lineart, with a tablet. I just zoom in a lot and then make the sketch almost all transparent so I can barely see where I'm supposed to draw. Then I toggle back between the sketch and the lineart to make sure the lineart is turning out like how it's supposed to. It takes a long time and so I don't like to make a lineart XDDDDDD

Well, it's sometimes easier to trace the sketch with really clean line. I usually just color on top of a sketch but that works well too.

Ahem hum hum... Okay :] I think slavery time wasn't that bad cause I have to find someone who likes to make linearts >< (this was ironic of course ) Well thanks a lot for your explanations, do you think I can make a lineart in photoshop, and using wich tools? And I'm sorry for all these questions x3

Hahaha. Thank you and answering those questions are a pleasure because it makes me think about what I actually do. lol

You can make a lineart in photoshop. If you want a thin line, then set brush to 1 pixel and lower the opacity of the brush, along with the opacity of the sketch. It helps a lot if you change the color of the sketh with color balance and have the lineart be a different color. After drawing, you can clean up with eraser. The smaller the brush/eraser is, the more details you'll get. However, you can still work with thicker widths for brush and eraser. It might get done quicker that way. It just depends on your style or what type of lineart you want to create.

Actually I had thought of making linearts in Photoshop but I'm not that talented xD So I tried with Pixia and I think it can work out x3 Cause actually it's quite hard to draw freehand in Photoshop so I use the curve thingie in Pixia.

I have never tried Pixia. Wait, actually, I did but I couldn't figure stuff out so I quitted. XDDDDD

Warf you actually need a lot of patience cause it's a very different way of work... and it really gets on my nerves sometimes...

I like the simple lines in this picture, and also the way your coloring bags up the lineart. The blue tones were well chosen and I like the shirts, I could wear something like that myself. One of your best pieces definitely.

so beautiful line art and cool character design boys look so cute and handsome XD are they twins or something like that ? they remind little of yuki from fruits basket. also poses are great. design of their clothes is nice and details on them are well made. also like the light blue colouring with black and white. yellow gives nicely brightness ^_^ good work there !
