I was listening to this London Grammar "Hey Now" remix  and I started thinking about Dan and possible story ideas for him and I'm getting really really emotional about it for multiple reasons.

lol well I'm very glad to hear your excited for Spaghetti Chanbara but Dan will not be in that particular story haha xD Spaghetti Chanbara involves characters like Mercedes, Annie, Zed.
If I ever get my shit together enough to make a proper story for Dan, he's most likely going to be in something solo.

It's not quoted from anything. It's a piece of dialogue that Dan says from an imaginary ending scene I have in my head

Cool.    That style of comment works great for an opening line.  But the use of "...but... I am learning" may also work as ",but I am learning."  It depends on how fast you want the line read and how you like the rhythm.  It's fine as is, but I can't help but leave thoughts for consideration.  It's an English major thing.  haha
