After "Growing Up" [link] , I HAD to paint another oil. I wasn't in a brush mood, so I PAINTED THE WHOLE THINGS WITH MY FINGERS.My art teacher warns me that I shouldn't do this too often, as oils are toxic, and I may end up loosing my mind like Van Gogh.
But yeah, I love taking my otherwise simple sky photos, and then repainting them in a completely bizarre way.
CAN YOU FIND THE ELEPHANT?! 8D

That's just awesome work, though painting with oils with your fingers being toxic, it's actually pretty close to what my one watercolor teacher said about some watercolor paints since some of them had toxic ingredients (mainly pthalo blue and green). There are actual paints for fingerpainting, but I haven't been able to find them.
As for this, I like the play of dark and light in this.

Oh, I didn't know that watercolors are toxic too! And that's a shame, considering I love Pthalo blue so much. >:
Ah well, I'll just have to stay away from finger painting in the future.

Or use those dishwashing gloves. Or there's non-toxic alternatives, but I forgot where you can find them. Maybe start checking on art supply stores.

This is really amazing. I like the nice mix of dark and light colors. Definitely a chaotic feel. Although, not as chaotic as the Mandlebrot set....
