Description Frankish fashion of the time of Carlovingians dynasty.

Gowns of that period were tightly fitted, colourful and graceful, with obvious Byzantine influences. They were very rich with embrionery but severe at the same time. The Carolingian women wore embroidered veils, that reached almost to the ground.
