Description This is a painting I started in Dec. (then put away) then took out last week and finished it... but it still seems like its been haunting me forever.... I have to say, it looks a lot different from how it did in my head, but I do like the result. What I DON'T like is the fact that this is taken with a digital camera at a weird angle because I couldn't get the hole picture in without a horrible glare. So I'm also submitting another one with a different angle to show some of it that didn't make it in this photo.... hopefully I will get a scan of this so that I can scap both of these and have a real deviation.

this is really good, i like the title, i have been doing a series for a few years by the same name, just photos though.... some of them are littered throughout my gallery, will add more as i get time.

omg! i love this! i saw it in person when they had it up in downtown poke. i was origanally there to see kindra's art (i am kindra and melina's cousin) but i really loved the detail and everything in this one. you do AMAZING artwork.
although i have to say, the digital camera didn't do this piece justice.
it is even more beautiful in person!! :fav:

I just saw this at the art center... Very Very Very Very Good! (as i'm sure you already know!) Oh yeah, and my mom was amazed by the detail... I'm suppose to tell you (from her) that it's fantastic. SO TWO COMMENTS IN THE FORM OF ONE! YAY!

Once I downloaded this to my desktop and opened it up so that I could take it all in at once, I was very impressed! Excellent colors and muted, dark overtones. Great concept, and very well painted and brought to life. Wonderful imagery

travis, you are definintly the most amazing person i know.when i went to the art show at the mall, i was seriously blown away. my stuff was nothing and i couldnt believe how good everything you did was. those three dancing ladies. wow, the roses, another wow, and then this. i was so happy for you, just thinking about how many options you have when it comes to hobbies and talents. singing, art(anything), extremely smart...you are so lucky, you better know that. anyway back to this painting. i love it so much, i wouldl ike to own it for myself. (not giving you any ideas for a graduation present) ahhaha. i love love love it. awesome job.

I'm glad you liked comments about it... I enjoyed people's reactions to seeing the people in it - I didn't know they wouldn't see it at first. and I wish I could've come to the opening - refreshments get me every time....

Thank you..... oil paints, and yes I was it was in the local Sunday paper a little while ago... did you see it? (well, it wasn't that exciting) Anyway, this is the piece that was in the paper...
