More earrings! Just wanted to quick do some simple one's, to have a bunch ready for Geek.Kon and other conventions this fall. Not to mention, yesterday was a horrible day for my shaking, and I couldn't do much that involved large amounts of movement...Because I seem to get a lot of comments from people who like the jewelry, but don't have pierced ears, I finally was able to pick up a few clip-on earring bases! So, these are clip on's, for people without pierced ears (and, for some reason, when I tried them on, they seem to be a lot more comfortable than the clip on's I remember as a child...)
The fabric bits on these earrings come from a kimono lining fabric, and has a really pretty (but very subtle) design woven into them. Then, dangling from them are glass beads - a circular black glass bead, a red glass butterfly with iridescence, and, finally, at the bottom, three glass drops.

The butterflies are super cute. They remember me of the ones i always used when i was little to make my braclets. They were made out of some yellow flashy plastic so they were not as pretty as those.

Wee.. black and red, these are so my style. Odd request though, do you think you'd ever take commissions on these? I have wiered ears, one is at a 0 gauge and the other is regular sized, it's not that they'd have to match, but it'd be so neat to have a similarily themed set.

I would definitely consider it, but I dunno how I could do it - I haven't done much with gauged earrings before, but I'd be more than happy to try to work with you on designing something

Thank you very much - I'm having a blast trying to combine my new obsession with cameras with the jewelry bits, and my mother has the most amazing yard/garden, so why not take advantage of it?
Now... I just don't know what I'm going to do in the winter!
