Yep! Today, too, you're getting the rest of the recent picture binge of my new jewelry stuffs.

I've been making this "kimono jewelry" stuff in my down time, as a way to relax and take my mind off of everything else. I know, deep down, that I should be working on other things, but sometimes, the energy just isn't there, and this is a good alternative to keep my hands busy but not need a huge amount of energy like sewing takes.

This is my favorite set so far, simply because it's so graphic. I'm not a huge fan of orange, usually, and these were a total experiment.

The fabric came from this children's kimono .

The main pendant has this beautiful placement of the main center of the wheel, with the spokes radiating out - I swear, the placement of this was an accident, that it looked like a rising sun! I'm ecstatic that that worked out so well

The earring fabric bits are from the same wheel, too, but just showing the edge swirling bits.

Hanging from both the pendant and earrings are glass beads that fade from orange to green (like the kimono, as the base is green), and some pearls, too.
