Another image of my new Pipos Bao doll, in his (or her, see my other Artisan Craft submission for that ramble if you care ) Matsuri Yukata.A Matsuri is a Japanese festival or holiday -> [link]
So, as summer is slowly getting here, it seemed appropriate that he (she, whatever!) have a good outfit to wear.
Random bits of fabric that I had floating around, and all hand sewn. The gritty details are in the Artisan Crafts submission , if you are curious.
I just love this picture - it's what I could never do with any of my other doll pictures with my previous cameras. There is something about the quality of the light that exposes in an SLR camera, that you just can't get anywhere else.
Doll photos are now just one more reason that I love my new camera

Look at those cute feet! That yakuta is so adorable! I love it's tinyness and of course the flowers make it even cuter! Great picture. Love the light and the quality is brilliant!

I've been trying to find out if the little one has a name (I think the adult does, but I don't know if the little one does) because that is what I want to call him! I also plan on painting his face up like a Kitsune, too, when I get a chance

No problem! This is a Pipos (brand) Bao (fennic fox)
The site is [link] - I'm not sure when their next ordering period is going to be - how they work now is you have to order during their "open" period, which is usually 10 days. They'll only take orders during that time, and then they close for a period of time (I'm not sure how long that is, though...)
You may want to check out the Den of Angels forum for updates on them, and every other type of BJDoll out there

heehee, very true. but i'd rather that than having to dig post holes in dirt nearly as hard as cement!(grew up on a farm, and texas heat has a horrid effect on the dirt)
