I've been wanting to have a Centaur-type character for a long time now, but could never decide on if she was just a centaur, her overall design, etc. Recently I've been in love with a bunch of demi-human manga such as "Monster Masume" and "Centaur no Nayami" where they take fantasy and try to apply it to modern life in practical ways.

So with that, Suiren was born! Pronounced: Soy-Rehn
She's a sassy little centaur based off of different species of donkey, but mostly the African Wild Ass.
She has a dappled coat, and more hair on her tail than average. (But still less than a horse, look up Donkeys and Zebras with long hair on their tails)
Like donkeys her hair is naturally lighter as the root and fades to a darker colors at the very tips of her hair. Her eye color was influenced by certain Iris and Lotus flowers, being a deep purple on the outside, and pale gold in the center, normally the gold isn't noticeable though.(I just wanted to show it here. )

Her name means: Lotus, or Marsh lily. :3 I haven't decided on a last name just yet.

She actually wears a lot more clothing normally, I was just excited about showing off her design on her lower half.

Hubby and I have been discussing her story and stuff, and decided she's a mage from Tae's world, (Sort of Tae's Rival) but instead of focusing on primal elemental magic, she studies more as a Summoner/Druid type. She summons celestial beasts to fight for her, and uses life magic instead (Like a support healer who grants buffs, but uses Life magic instead of Holy) She's a more successful adventurer since she focuses on a more broad range of magic (Instead of just taking the role of ranged DPS like Tae)

But I drew the Ears, Hair, mane, Tail, and Top free-hand. I also adjusted the leg proportions to be more like a Donkey and less like a horse, so...about 85% custom
