There’s an even more bizarre story behind this bizarre sign posted in front of a local attorney’s office. Apparently some miscreant in an SUV (what else?) hit a young man on a skateboard. The young man was going home from his job at the Burrito Bar at about 10:30 at night. The hit and run driver clocked the poor kid, knocking out four of his teeth, breaking his nose, giving him a concussion and leaving him a bloody, battered mess. But here’s the weird part: the driver stopped. Scooped the kid up and put him in his car. The driver then drove around for a while and decided to dump the confused kid on the street. Somehow the kid made it home and then to hospital. The NYPD are looking for the driver. I will refrain from editorialising.
