Ok, Ok...rules were meant to be broken. Despite a long standing and thoroughly adhered to ban on dating the undead of any type, fate intervened this summer... Some of you may recognize this lovely lady, taghuso.deviantart.com/art/Pri… We met in a Starbucks about a year ago, traded work stories while waiting for our respective orders, and went our separate ways (I was waiting for a caramel latte mochiato, and she was waiting for the guy in front of her to let his guard long enough to get the fangs in). Nice gal despite the whole vampire priestess to some unwholesome semi-godlike force from the nether reaches of time and space. Well, call it a summer romance, but while vacationing abroad, who did I bump into? There she was on the Lido deck, looking stunning in a metal bikini. I'm sure some vampiric hypnosis was involved, but we spent the last few weeks cruising the Mediterranean, and looking for the site of some ancient Temple of Blood and Shadow. Well, once we found it, we said our goodbyes, the souls of thousands stored in her demon-blade sped her back to her own time, and I was oddly alone again, and a little anemic....such is life and love...Related content

Indeed she did. Showed up poorly on film unless treated with silver phosphate emulsions, but took a pretty picture when ya had the right equipment.

And work it was at times! Switching to a primarily nocturnal existence is trickier than one would think. Though, for our daylight excursions the constant application of sunblock was a surprising bonus

Well, we all have our own sort of luck. This time mine involved a lot of blank spaces in my memory, a battle with cave ghouls (really me just running around screaming) and a pleasant cruise through the Northern coast of Africa.

It's true... Plenty of fish in the sea they say. Alucrycia was a lot nicer than one would expect, but that could just be the post hypnotism talking. Said she was going to miss sunblock most of all. Apparently SPF 25 (and higher), if liberally applied is significant protection for vampires, as long as is re-applied every half an hour or so.
