Fourth installment of my 21st Century Princesses series. Ariel of the 1989 Disney film The Little Mermaid. Ariel is usually seen clad in just a purple seashell bikini top. I wanted to give her look a breezy update. I didn't really like Ariel with legs so I didn't want to try with the pink dress.Original Ariel: [link]

To be honest, it was your "21st century Tiana" that drew my attention to your gallery. But then I discovered that it was a series, and, being the sucker for series that I am, looked through the rest of you gallery.
I must say, you have a wonderful style, and though I love most of what I've seen, my fingers would not survive writing that much praise.
Your art is neat, colorful and interesting. This particular princess (a childhood favorite of mine) made my day.

I like the frills in the top, I find it really matches Ariel's personality and thank you for making it so she isn't only wearing 2 seashells!

Uhh.. it wouldn't be anything like THIS because it appears I havent been able to draw a realistic looking person in ages..

How exactly besides the coloring?

well you do your eyes differently, your nails, the shapes of the heads are slightly different
