Description
Something I had to do for my uni course. This was my first time ever working in SAI and boy have I been converted
I've got a much larger version up for download if anyone's interested. The composition of the larger image is different to the one I submitted for uni, I fixed up the shadows (not that they're any more plausible, but they're only there for effect anyway.)
Over the next couple of days I hope to get a few videos of the work process up on my youtube channel: Girl Does Things On Internet .

ITS A NEKO!
Love the design of the bitter girl! It has a "red queen"-like atmosphere! Her face is very striking with the contrast of the blue eyes!
Paint tool SAI? I miss that program, I can't use it since I got myself a MAC though. T___T I wish there were a MAC version. I find drawing lineart in it is so much easier, although I wasn't able to master the painting brushes very well.

Thank you so much! Ohh, that's too bad D: Have you tried Open Canvas? I think the newer versions are very similar to SAI and give a similar smoothness to the lines (it's what I generally use.)

Opencanvas has nice lines as well, though I think I prefer SAI's to it actually, though I like the available toolset for Opencanvas better. SAI however has a more paintery feel to its brush. Unfortunately, OpenCanvas is also exclusively to windows computers so I can't use it with my new MAC as well. :[
