I had a really insightful chat with a coworker and fellow artist about approaches to art. He brought up some strong points and one that really inspired me was- why stop at a portrait? He likes to put his characters in worlds. I decided to take an old portrait and extend the composition. It feels more complete now. We'll be seeing more of these in 2016.
