I've been working on some fun sewing projects lately. This dress is a wearable mock-up of a 1950s pattern I bought on Etsy recently. I wanted to make sure the pattern fit me properly before I use it to make my bridesmaid's dress for a cousin's wedding. The fabric for that dress was difficult to find and in short supply, so making sure things fit first means I don't waste scarce fabric. For the mock-up I used this cute fabric I got from my grandma's fabric stash. I did make some changes to the paper pattern to improve the fit for the next dress, but I'm quite happy with the mock-up turned out.
