*edit: Adjusted some things to make the image less fuzzy-looking.Inspired by Angela Aki's lovely song, "HOME."
This is a "what-if-they-never-died" world (just saying that now because my bro was bugging me about how this scene couldn't possibly happen). It's Kushina and Minato either welcoming Naruto home after a mission or sending him off on one. It was kinda sad drawing this since this is the kind of thing he's always wanted but will never have.
This drawing has been in progress for months, ever since Kushina's first appearance in the manga. I've been waiting to see her official hair/clothes color before finishing it, but it's been so long that I just took a guess. If it turns out that this isn't the right red hair color or clothes colors, I'll just go back and fix it.

I love this picture. But it makes me kinda sad. Because like you said this is what Naruto always wanted but will never have I dont know its just sad knowing that this could never be a reality.
