Awesome, just started converting my cpu to an Infinite theme, and these will work for that. I especially love the battery Bar. Awesome look.

Many Thanks!

The battery bar especially took LOT of work, just to get the right turning circle
I'm glad you like it!

This is so awesome! Goes well with my Bioshock icon themed RocketDock (see below)

[link]

Don't suppose your planning on adding any more, for example an email/calender widget?

Wasn't planning on it..
My graphics guy hasn't been doing much.. though I asked him alot..
And I;m not good at the graphics, only the coding

MY favorite of all time. I really wish there was more to it though. I want an entire bioshock theme. A dock would be so awesome it would hurt my insides!

Awww, I still love it. I adore it. It's my absolute favorite. Thank you though, I'd really appreciate that. Hell, I have other widget/desktop programs, but your Bioshock skin is the reason I keep using rainmeter. They're perfect, btw. Really goes great with my steampunk windowsblinds theme. I'm trying to get all the plasmid pictures I can find and other bioshock things to make icons and eventually put them all together in a pack. I try to think of what I could make a dock with or like, but I just can't figure it out. I know how much of a pain it must have been trying to do that though and not have it work out. So did you make them from a screenshot or did you build them from scratch?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Taichou-Henk In reply to Space0ctopus [2012-11-19 17:58:28 +0000 UTC]

I made them from a screenshot, well actually my good friend *kleinebozebeer made them from screenshots..
And If you provide me with the icons, I could make the dock's etc for you.
The problem is that my friend is so busy these days.

So thanks for your kind words, and if you have the icons I will be glad to make this for you.

I could probably make or acquire icons somehow, but I wonder what kind would be useful? I mean, I could just grab all the available plasmid icons out there, but I could also make my own icons with the same feel. I kind of wish I was a good artist, so that I could illustrate icons to have the vintage feel and everything, to look like the plasmid icons. That would be epic. Anyways I can see about doing that. Right now I'm trying to see about making a rocketdock skin from fallout3

On top of the document you will find this: WeatherCode=NLXX0002
Change the weathercode to YOUR weathercode, and you have your weather..

hey how r u? I'm still having problems with setting files to the buttons but i managed to add some bioshock abilities symbols to the buttons and they r looking good . as for the file and adding to the buttons I'm not sure what i need to put i want to add 2 folders from my desktop so i can take them of the desktop and maybe the safari browser link. do i need to change anything in the button configuration like add a new command or change what the bit in brackets says? i've not change them from what u had them before.

Taichou-Henk In reply to lestatpendragon [2012-04-14 12:41:08 +0000 UTC]

A folder is the same as a file..

in the skin file youll find this:
[variables]
Program 1= path
Program 2= Path
Program 3= Path

Change "path" to the folder or file you want.
So to open a folder on your desktop:
[variables]
Program 1= "C:\Users\*username here*\Desktop\*foldername here*\"
example The following will open the skins folder on my desktop:
Program 2= "C:\Users\Giblet\Desktop\Skins\"
example The following will open firefox in my programfiles folder
Program 3= "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

The locations may be different on your computer!!
so you must find those yourself!
I already told you how you could do that for the safari link, rightclick it, properties, copy the "target" link.
for the folders: open the folder, and copy the command/breadcrumb bar (bar on top in the explorer window) and past it between brackets.

Just try it, refresh the skin in between saves and see what you can do!

lestatpendragon In reply to Taichou-Henk [2012-04-14 15:43:04 +0000 UTC]

ok this is what i've got for the paths
Program 1= "C:\Users\lestat\Desktop\lestats stuff"
Program 2= "C:\Users\lestat\Desktop\random stuff"
Program 3= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Safari.exe"
i think this is how they r suppose to be i could only find "location" do i need to add anything to commands this is what i have for buttons
[App1]
Meter=Button
ButtonImage=\Graphics\demandingdad.png
ButtonCommand= !exicute ["#Program 1#"]
x=42
y=2

[App2}
Meter=Button
ButtonImage=\Graphics\adamneedle copy.png
ButtonCommand= !exicute ["#Program 2#"]
x=7
y=37

[App3]
Meter=Button
ButtonImage=\Graphics\cloud button.png
ButtonCommand= !exicute ["#Program 3#"]
x=38
y=88

is that right?

My mate is working on it.
He's also very busy!
So give him some time.

You can do everything he does with photoshop elements, but he's pretty good at it!
He just needs some time
Also, for the borderlands one were still discussing things.

okay cheers then could u ask him how i can cut and paste the gun images to a new blank page cause i can't seem to get it to work properly i've even tried to use paint but can't cut circular shapes only does square or free hand.
as for the borderlands theme is there anything i can help with? i could do with some practice with writing and designing programs and skins.

how do i edit the app buttons on the clock skin? i'm new at this

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Taichou-Henk In reply to lestatpendragon [2012-04-11 22:42:19 +0000 UTC]

Hey, thanks for your interest,

Start the buttons skin,
right click it, and click "edit skin"

In the window that opens you will find the following:

[variables]
Program 1= Path
Program 2= Path
Program 3= Path

changes the "Path" to the path of your preferred app
for example firefox, which on my pc is located in C:\Program Files\Firefox\Firefox.exe
I will copy this:

[variables]
Program 1= C:\Program Files\Firefox\Firefox.exe
Program 2= C:\Program Files\notepad++\Notepad++.exe
Program 3= C:\Program Files\Teamviewer 7\Teamviewer.exe

Now program 1 will be firefox, program 2 notepad++ and program 3 teamviewer!
But, you must find the right paths for the right apps yourself!
If you want an easy way to find the app>
Rightclick the shortcut you have, for example in your start menu, or in your taskbar or on your desktop
choose properties:
You will find a line called "target"
Just copy everything behind it and you will have your path!

that's all!
Goodluck!

ok i tried that but i couldn't get it to work. is there anything i need to put as a command or is it that in putting the wrong path? also is it possible to add icons or images to the buttons without changing how they come up already so they still change when u put cursor over or click on it i want to add some images of the abilities from the game. oh and also i made a copy of the clock skin and changed it to a media player for itunes but the writing colour wont change it stays black and i cant read the writing on the black background but im trying to use the same colour as the time and date writing on the clock version thanks for any help

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Taichou-Henk In reply to lestatpendragon [2012-04-11 23:30:12 +0000 UTC]

I'm sorry I made one little mistake in my tutorial..
You need to put the path in there:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
and put quotes around it:
"D:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
you would get:
[variables]
Program 1= "C:\Program Files\Firefox\Firefox.exe"
Program 2= "C:\Program Files\notepad++\Notepad++.exe"
Program 3= "C:\Program Files\Teamviewer 7\Teamviewer.exe"

Adding icons is possible..
But not adviseable..
In the folder where the skin file is placed (most common: C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\Rainmeter\skins\bioshocking\time-launch)
there is a "graphics" folder.
You can find three images there..
Load the images in your favourite program, edit them and save them again as a .png file
USE THE SAME FORMAT and PAINT OVER THEM! else it will not work again, oh and make a backup of the originals!

for your last question,
to change the font color on several fonts just use FontColor: R, G, B where r g and b are red green and blue values
for the sandy color I use for the time you can use

FontColor=255,234,187

you would get something like:
[MeterName]
Meter=STRING
MeasureName=MeasureSomething
x=1 // x value
y=1 // y value
FontSize=16 //size of the letters
AntiAlias=1 // always use 1 !
FontFace="Andes" // the font I use for the bioshocking skin
StringStyle=Bold // What style must the font be?
FontColor=255,234,187 // the color for the font
