This is a much better hug than in the movie! I can also wholeheartedly agree about this whole 'pretty female characters needs to stay pretty at ALL times' bullschmit, considering how both male characters and villains, including female villains who have more flexibility to be expressively and diverse design-wise than the main female characters!
Good golly, it's already been both a joke and a trope that every other Disney film (and sometimes others) suffers SFS or Same-Face-Syndrome. Not just the face, but also exact same body-type and facial structure as well.

Brave was better about character emotion in a similar scene. And the the post-2000's audience have a huge emotional complex about strong feelings about a movie character, which is just a non-flawed role model to them. I find Frozen totally bland and censored about Elsa feelings, she knows what she does in Let it Go, the denial about Arendelle freezing, crush all serious moral feelings about this movie, and the Enchanted Christmas ice skating - like sort of ending never worth a oscarized animation movie.
My feeling about this, nice drawing after all, as usual.

I heartily agree on the hug subject as well as the emotion limitations! I have two younger sisters whom I love dearly, even when we don't get along. If one of them had just thawed out of an icy death that I had (unintentionally) caused, there would be sobbing and desperate never-gonna-let-you-go-oops-you-can't-breathe hugging and much thanking God and begging for forgiveness and this all would go on for quite a while until I was sure I wasn't dreaming and she was really alive. That scene lacked the sort of raw intensity that that kind of loss and miraculous recovery would almost certainly contain!
Nevertheless, I loved watching a movie about sisters reconnecting. For me, it was incredibly relatable and half of the movie was accompanied by flashbacks of my childhood with my siblings.

I agree completely with you on this!
And your picture, fits how they should have acted sooo much better!

very nice and sweet! it does look like they're from a manga. I like the background. Frozen was a good movie. Well, Elsa did have an INTJ personality, but INTJs still have feelings and emotions, and it was a kid's movie.
