Description

Circling back to the efforts to make more ally/support characters, here's the training robot from Gekiranger. Robo Tough isn't really a character, just a training mannequin; it doesn't have a voice or anything, and for the vast majority of episodes is just in the office background or non-existent. As such, it probably fits the second row of my gigantic infographic.

The design is ya know, fine, for what it is. It feels like the original intent was maybe for it to be around more, to maybe have a voice actor, and then the story just took a better turn with the various masters and stuff. It's certainly not my among my favorite robots. I think it's one of those things they start with at the beginning of a series, find out it's not working/selling, so it just falls by the wayside.
