Here's a new thing from King-Ohger, from a two-episode special featuring returning Kyoryuger characters.

King Kyoryu Red is the future son of Amy and Daigo/King. And that's fine. I do think his coloring could've been different. If only there was some color between red and pink that would feel special...like I dunno, crimson? I do appreciate the attempt to make some sort of new design, but again, a lil color change to a darker red or crimson would've felt more unique.

The returning eps were good, they kinda confirmed my feelings about King-Ohger's world just feeling empty tho. A whole series based on CGI backgrounds has just felt so empty compared to real world shots of buildings or like, traffic. While we're on it, I'm gonna need the map continuity experts to stop showing King-Ohger's planet Terra as a flat map with no Earth-like landmasses, but then showing it as a more globe/circular shape...with African continent front and center. It's happened a few times now and it's super jarring. The lore building of Terra's first residents/colonizers being expats from Earth is unique...but "2,000 years ago" feels recent enough that it would be taught in Terra's schools? That shouldn't have been a shock to the King-Ohgers. I dunno.

However! The Kyoryu cast is great together, even with a few absences it was nice to see an old squad. I'm still surprised it's been 10 years already. Guess I'm just getting too damn old where each series feels like it 'just happened yesterday'.
