Thanks Phill. We only see snow maybe every 4 or 5 years. This time the ice is the real problem for anyone in Georgia. Some people have been stranded on the highway in their cars for more than 18 hours including children on school buses trying to bring them home after school let out early.

It's now 2am here and many kids are still stuck in schools here! Only about 3 inches of snow but the real problem is the temp has dropped way below freezing so the roads are a sheet of ice now and will be till about noon Thursday.

Atlanta has been a total parking lot since Tuesday night. Not so much the snow but the ice is the really problem here. My camera gives me the same difficulties as yours in very cold weather.
