In adobe ACR, eliminate your A/D noise by using the luminance noise elimination feature. Open it in photoshop. Reduce the size of your photo and sharpen it in Filters/Smart sharpen; settings 50 to 170 and radius from~0.5 to almost 2 pixels depending on the photo. Do not used the noise reduction in Photoshop. You'll get a noise free photo. If you shoot in Jpeg you can get the photo into CS4 from Bridge with the keyboard Command(MAC)/Control(PC) R!

Correct that to into Adobe ACR from Bridge with Control R. You're welcome, it's one of the few things I do know!!!
