And I did that on purpose because they three legendary beasts were apparently reborn from deceased vaporeon, flareon and jolteon

where did you hear that? the pokedex entries all say something along the lines of ho-oh creating him from pure lightning, to represent the lightning that struck the brass tower.

Well, it's just speculation among pokemon fans that Suicune, Entei and Raikou were made from dead Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon as 3 dogs were said to have died in the fire and were resurrected into them 3

The term 'dogs' is also fanmade. They originally had no collective title [as neither did the birds] and only 1 of them is actually dog-like. the other two are closer to lions/tigers, and I can find no mention of ressurection from any -specific- animal on their respective bulbapedia pages, even in their pokedex entries. So the connection to foxes, as the eeveons are based, seems pretty flimsy to me. [not trying to pick a fight, just love debating fantheories. lol the closer a theory gets to beleivability through fact, the better.]
