Part III- Vaporeon.

It seemed forever since anyone entered the cells. It was all quiet. Eesto even asked Lavender is she was still there. She was. Eesto puts his eyes back on his bandage paws. They didn’t hurt as much. He finally decided what Esp did to his paw. He bites on a bandage and unwrap his first paw. Then he saw it. A blue fur paw. He looks closely at it. It was webbed under the fur. He checks his other paws. They all had the same things
“Lavender! Look!” He said putting his paw out of the cell to let her see. She looks.
“They look like paws that water creatures have to help them swim faster. Like vaporeons.”
“What’s a vaporeon?” Eesto asks.
“That’s an evolution that an eevee can evolve to. Esp is an espeon, another evolution for an eevee.”
“Wow.” Eesto said, amazed. “What else is there?” he said smiling.
Lavender takes a deep breath, knowing that this would hurt her weak throat, but she told him anyways.
“There jolteon, the thunder one, flareon the fire one, umbreon the shadow one.”
“Wow! I like the sounds of umbreon!” Eesto said wagging his tail. Lavender smiled a bit and continued telling him about two new eevee evolutions that everyone discovered a few years ago.

After their conversation, Eesto actually felt tired. He lays on the rocky floor and goes to sleep.

Eesto wakes up, after having a dream about him being in the box with his eevee brothers. He missed them so much. He heard the doors open. He backs away, hitting his empty bowl of water. Esp heard Eesto and looks in and sees Eesto’s paws.
“Ah. So they worked well. Well I think the potion is ready. That one can wait.” She said turning away from Lavender. Then she grabs a bit on Eesto’s ear again. Eesto screamed as he was dragged away again.

Esp lets go of him, letting him rub his ear. It was bleeding now. Eesto looks ahead and sees a huge machine with needles. He shivered just looking at it.
“Lay down.” Esp said pointing where to lie.
“No-“ Eesto was about to say until Esp bit his ear hard again and almost tossed him to it.
“LAY DOWN!”
Eesto walks to the machine and finds where to lie down. On a wood piece. He does. Esp walks over and straps a belt around his waist so he couldn’t escape. She makes his paws also hang over the side of it. She starts to twist a gear and the needles started moving closer to Eesto. He wriggled in fear form them. He felt a few needles stab into his back He screamed. Then he felt more in his tail, then his paws, his ears, chest and head. After what seemed like 100 needles were in him, he felt something being injected into him. Eesto’s muscles started to feel week as he starts tightening his body. Esp walks in front.
“You’ll be fine if I leave you like this for a few hours.” She said and walks off, leaving Eesto with his body covered in the needles.

After what it seemed like eternity, Esp finally comes back and takes out the needles and brings Eesto down. Eesto sighs with relief. Suddenly he started to float from Esp’s psychic. She then dropped him in a container of water and closes the lid.
“It’s time for the test. If it works, you go back to your cage. If not, you’ll drown and die.” She said.
This made Eesto shake. Suddenly the water started to rise up. It went over Eesto’s body. I gasp, knowing his life was going to be over. When more water came in he tried to swim up. The blue paws on him were helping a lot. He thought he could do it until his head bumped into the lid at the top. He screams and tries to keep his nose as high as possible. Finally the water filled the whole container and he was trying his hardest to hold his breath. But suddenly he felt something loose out his neck. Then his felt something strange on his tail. He looks back and saw the fur on the tail was shrinking into the skin as the tail stretched out, turn the same blue color as his paws and the tip turned into a fin. He also felt his neck and felt small openings. Then he just realised he was breathing. He then found out the he had gills. His tail finished changing. He guessed the tail helps him swim better. He swims around a bit. Esp was smiling.
“Perfect. If the mix of vaporeon works, then maybe the others will.” She then empties the capsule of the water and gets Eesto out. She drags him by the ears again and throws him back in his cell. He still had the vaporeon tail. He walks to Lavender.
“Lavender!”
She uncurls and looks at him with her raspy voice.
“Yeah?”
“She injected some potion into me and this happened.”
“You’re an eevee and vaporeon mix?”
“Yeah. Does this mean she’s done with me?” Eesto asks.
“No. She will still try and find a way to use or enhance you.” Lavender admitted.
Eesto’s ears went down.
