It's not that hard to understand-- it especially irks my nerves when they act dumb
or claim they made it first. Excuses excuses- the least you can do is atleast credit them

As an artist, yes you tend to find inspo from others´ work,
but ???? tracing/copying the whole damn thing ISN´T just "taking inspiration",,,?
and GOSH when someone uses the whole "i´m a starting artist my style sucks"
excuse,, that just grinds my gears to the fullest.
They think the person who has drawn for a long time,
struggling and figuring out their style, has had it always.
Style doesn´t come in a day. I´m STILL figuring out mine.
it´s this long damning process of agony and self doubt and
then someone just swoops and redraws it in a second.

sometimes I'll look at someone's work, and I'll trace it but not to post, to study the anatomy and how they color it
if you look at people's styles for studying purposes it's okay...?

im not talking about study, or looking at references.
I´m talking about the fact how people copy other´s work,
and claim it to be theirs.
Or just blame the blatant ripping off on the fact that they
were "inspired".
Making studies is totally different,
in studies you do trace and explore and analyze,
so i don´t think that relates to this! :00

yea and not only that but just outright copying doesn't help you
by tracing/copying someone's hard work, you don't just magically absorb their
skills y'know? And if they're just hoping to gain followers faster then what even
is the point if it's not even your effort? like honestly tracers don't deserve any credit...
and esp with the whole "my style sucks" issue, it's kinda ridiculous too bc most every
"good artist" or whatever would most likely be open to helping out/giving adive or suggestions
to any starting artists, like honestly it's not hard to ask!! all of this could definitely be avoided and
those peopple can actually learn and develop a style on their own and EARN the credit for it.
it's so freaking frustrating that people think it's okay, as if people who have more art experience
suddenly no longer have feelings the second they become decent artists. It seriously hurts to have
art stolen from you bc its' all your hard work being ripped off and taken credit for, yet they dont think
its a big deal.
