Description I feel so confused and angry I just had to let some of that out somehow... There`s this person who is close to me and seems to think that anxiety disorder is not an illness and that you can just "turn it off" when you want. I mean, I have tried, but it`s so hard. It makes me sad when they say that I shouldn`t "do my anxiety thing" around them, because it makes them unhappy... So I don`t know what to do anymore, because I don`t want to be a burden. ;-;

I don't know what the "anxiety thing" is, but at least knowing the nature of it, it's not that easy to just stop doing it. I think that whether they saw anxiety disorder as an illness or not, they still couldn't make a very big argument on it. People don't simply "turn off" angry when someone steals their wallet. (Sorry for the rant there) I feel it was mean for them to say that, but I don't think they were trying to be. It sounds like they don't understand entirely what anxiety disorder is. Even if they do, maybe they just felt bad watching it and didn't know how to help?

No se tyyppi ei ainakaan googlannu XD
Mun tietääkseni ainoo asia miten siit pääsee eroon on just nimenomaan koko anxiety-jutun tekeminen läheisten ihmisten lähettyvillä.

I do apologize if this is out of place, considering I don't know you, but I am so sorry you have to deal with that. Perhaps you should try talking to them, (if not in person, maybe over text?) and try to inform them on what anxiety really is (for you) and how it IS an illness and you just cannot simply "turn it off" and perhaps say how them thinking that and how they are "unhappy" because of something you cannot control makes you feel.... Again, I am sorry for being nosy but I have had to deal with this with so many people..... and it can be so hard going through something (that's hard as it is!) without that person ever truly understanding or by feeling "inconvenienced" by it. Because it is not your fault. You cannot control it. You are just as good as any other person and you should never have to feel like you're a burden to someone.
That said, I really love the emotion you have put into your art. I love the facial features and the shading is wonderful! I really hope you have a good day tomorrow/week!

It`s okay, talking about it makes dealing with it a bit better. ;v; I have tried my best explaining the situation to them, but they just don`t seem to listen and just compare my problems to theirs all the time. I´m out of ideas. It truly is frustrating trying to change somebody`s mind.
Anyway thank you so much for the encouragement !

I understand how that is. It's really odd how people feel the need to compare their life to yours,
like it's some kind of game in which whoever appears to have it worse wins.
Everyone deals with experiences differently and it's really not fair to undermine someone
just because "I've dealt with the same thing, and it didn't hurt me, therefore it shouldn't hurt you" sort of thing....
I really hope you can find some way to get them to understand! Or in the very least stop making you feel guilty for it...
I'm sorry this is happening to you ; - ;
And yeah no problem!
