Screw Owl City this is Fox CityThis started out as just a gift to Jvchii , but I took advantage of the pose and turned it into much more! I had this cool idea to make him in a city setting, which I thought suited him well! It didn't turn out exactly how I pictured it, but still pretty great~
Looord the lighting was a fun thing to do! Hope ya like it~

This is adorable!
The bright colours add to the cuteness. I like the use of warm colours on the cat, then colder colours in the background. There is a contrast and makes the cat stand out much more.
You've used very simple shading, but although it's simple it is effective. The simple shading seems to suit the style, if that makes sense. You haven't overcomplicated anything and it looks nice that way.
The lighting looks awesome as well. It's like a gradient, starting lighter at the bottom and gradually fading out towards the top.
Maybe you could have added some depth to the buildings, because they look a little flat. But I suppose at front view the buildings would probably look like that anyway.
The yellow and blue lights from the buildings could also be reflected onto the cat as well, as a bit of an addition to the lighting? It could also give you a better idea of how far away the buildings are from him.
It's a really nice drawing though, I hope this critique is okay^D^
