The green? Hmm well I never press too hard. The only thing I actually press on is the outlines. Then I shade in everything inside the outline ^_^ I use Faber Castell color pencils and they're pretty nice for blending too <3

It's just practice and a bit of technique ^^
I'm teaching my little sister how to use them righ now and she's doing pretty well for a nine year old xD
