This would be possible if, you know, Music could actually leave the clock tower to begin with. :') Started out as a sketch of just the a possible clock tower design, and then threw in some Music in there and then got this ;; Been working on Muziq for the first time in forever

Yes it has. I'm good. I've just been really busy with school. I've always wanted to come back and do more digital art but never had the time. I hope to do more art & hopefully improve. It's been awhile since I've done this so I'm a little rusty. How bout you? What's new?

Since finishing my novel, I realized that editing is actually MUCH harder than writing the actual stroy. I feel ya on this.

God, it's so true, though >_> All of my creative writing teachers tell me to completely revision my stories for edits, so I end up more or less rewriting them. I guess it does help you clear out a lot of the biases you had about the work being a true gem when you slowly start to pick it apart.. but it's still quite painful, yes @__@

The story may be great, but the formatting often isn't. Researching here recently has taught me a lot of painful lessons about editing/revising. I've lost count of the number of times that I've reread my novel in the pursuit of editing. Fortunately, I've got a good friend who is beta-ing for me on this round, and she's just a great big help. If you ever need a beta, I'd be happy to volunteer. Having that second person really makes a world of difference.

Ah, same here, trying to get in more drawing while I can before I have to travel back to CO and don't have a scanner for more than a month 8D;; //feel so rushed

Are these colored pencils or pastel chalks? Because I feel it looks a little like chalks, especially the background, but I know you tend to work with colored pencils if I remember correctly and now I'm confused

Ahhhh I'm sorry for the confusion! I normally do everything in color pencils but this was one of the weird incidents where I actually tried.. experimenting oAo I used oil pastels for the clouds actually, and the sky is dark blue color pencil mixed in with some light blues and purple. I just did not like the way I was doing my clouds, so I tried something else :')
And thank you kindly! I'm really happy the sky turned out okay in the end, since I've been really self conscious about the way I draw backgrounds, haha >u>;; Thank you!
