Description
A conceptual sketch; I always draw these at school and then finish them later at home
It's my means of releasing stress ;;
SunRizon is all about the origins of magic-- describing how it is only possible to use magic through bargaining with the dead and the use of magical but deadly stones. It's a story of sacrifice and of loyalty; expanding on the importance of one's culture and memories. It's a bit of a darker story but I really enjoy writing it <3

I read the original book by Gaston Leroux and I watched the 2004 movie directed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It's like they're two completely different stories, at times. x3

Which would you say was better- the book or the movie? It's usuually always the book that tops the movie..

It's so hard to tell... Despite what the critics say about Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum's voices (They're Erik and Christine's actors. I have no idea how much you know about PotO x3) and about the movie in general, I find it to be excellent. The actors are great, the songs are marvelous and you really get sucked in the atmosphere. :]
Though I really... have to say the book is better. It's not the same version, in the movie Erik is trรจs romantique, he has a smooth, sensual voice and he doesn't seem twisted at all. But in the book, you can feel his pain... He's crazier and "uglier" than the Phantom in the movie (Inner beauty wins, imo. He's still beautiful.

Yes, there seems to be mixed reviews about the actors >_> I always did like Gerard Butler though 
Which is understandable ^__^ I think it's a better theme to play with; the book definitely makes it seem more heartfelt
