Please notice that I borrowed the background from a screenshot, from the movie. No credits to me there. All goes to Disney.
I'm currently painting the background, like I did withΒ takadk.deviantart.com/art/Mothβ¦
It takes time, so for now I'm just using the reference, until finished. I just really had to upload this one today, since it's kinda my new year-drawing. Both are new beginnings.

The characters present in this is Ahadi and Uru, who's the happy new parents. The cubs are Mufasa and Taka (Scar) as newborn cubs.
My plan is to do a series of pictures with these characters, throughout the year. This is a thought I was playing around with last year too, where I drew the picture of Mufasa and Scar stargazing. I'm starting out with this one, since this is the very beggining of their journey.
I changed the designs for Ahadi and Uru a bit. Both because I wasn't that satisfied, but also due to me changing my view on them. I decided to choose a story for them, since the other Lion King movies had one, and therefore needed the change. I won't tell what I chose just yet, though
What is it with me, and tailess lions? It's not that I forget them. I just never include them.

I edited the characters (Scar + Mufasa) out of the screenshot, so I can't link you this exact one. Though I can maybe upload it later, and link it. I just unfortunately don't have the time right now.

I did give credit, and this is a screenshot. The repaint for this one isn't done yet, since I only started on it yesterday. It takes so much time to finish D:
