If Simba had kept his concept colors.I've altered them a bit, so they fit the movie.

You should do the concept colors for all of the characters in the Lion king.

I prefer the concept colors over the original. While I did grow up with the movie, I think the concept colors work a bit more. They gave Simba a bit of "oomph" and more character to me. Plus he looks cuter in his concept form. Hey did you know that Simba was going to be white when the movie had the working title of "King of the Jungle"?

Until Disney lost the rights of Kimba and resulting a LOT of resemblance that got backlash, accused of being a rip-off of Kimba the White Lion.

Yep, though there maybe some truth to the accusations as one of the people who worked on Kimba, also working on LK said that "even their lawyers weren't good" when he heard of the concept for Lion King.

And Disney denied acknowledgement of being involved with the company who owned the right to Kimba. >.<

Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, Mulan, Lilo and Stitch or Bambi. (With an exception with Frozen.) My two faves so far are LK and Frozen or Mulan.

I love Lady and the Tramp and the Black Cauldron, too. Don't know why people hate that movie. I think it's awesome.

Black Cauldron's not very popular and probably didn't have the charm the other Dis' Movies had.

Yeah, it wasn't that popular but I think it's a good movie, it has it's flaws yes but so does every movie. It may not have the same charm but I like it for that.

Lion King... Overrated sure, but still a classic, same with Kimba. (I like Lion King more though I like the Kimba style in the 80's anime. XD) Frozen, sure overrated, but I am still in content with it. I felt that the second half of the movie felt rushed. A little too much.

I've always thought his concept colors were adorable buuuut like you (and many others it seems) I prefer the movie colors, probably because that's what I grew up with. Simba's concept colors DO make me think of Sarabi though! Nice work

I do like the concept colors - he's cute and all - but I'm not really feeling it. Like they're still missing something. I can see them on a supporting character, though!
I'm not really sure if I prefer the movie colors, only because I'm used to them, or because of the extra glow, haha. I don't know
