Description
This is part of a series of card portraits of my PJatO OCs. I'm hopeful I'll get them all done. They're all probably best known for their roles in my headcanon timeline/Chasingverse , or more precisely Chasing Fireflies and Chasing Origins: Sam's Stoy .

Blance Lamour, daughter of Chione

Blance was actually one of my three very first PJatO OCs. She is a daughter of Chione - and she's a real Snow Princess. She's very, very frosty and cold toward people she doesn't know and thus doesn't trust. Often also toward those close to her, because she has deeply seated trust issues rooting from her father sexually abusing her as a child.
She considers herself broken, but there's one person who considers every single crack as beautiful - and that's why she loves Loki so very much. The son of Mercury never backed down, regardless of how cold she behaved toward him. He never treated her like she was a 'cold-hearted bitch', as many had labeled her. But he also never pushed her too far.
The only other people aside from Loki who she lets close are Loki's best friend Kara and her own best friend Nico Zhang. It may seem like an unlikely match for most - the fire-controller and the ice-controller, the precise and well-behaved Blance and the chaotic and hyperactive Nico - but it's exactly this difference that Blance values about Nico.
Due to her past, she perfected the art of distancing herself from others and from situations - which happened to make her a very damn good praetor. She's good at planning and keeping a cool head (gosh, those puns are too much fun to resist). Her time as Camp Jupiter's praetor is how she got together with Loki to begin with; forced to work side by side and unable to fully avoid the other. Now she's pretty grateful for that.
[Oh and this picture is kind of a re-draw of this ; though Blance's story is different in the Chasingverse than it was when I originally drew her for her first appearance in one of my fics]
