When they got home, Evie was still thinking about the embarrassment she’d suffered at the convention and the realisation she no longer had any control over what she got to watch and play. She’d had the whole car journey to wallow in her humiliation and bit by bit she turned it into anger but the car journey was longer and her anger made her tired. Soon, she was drooling, asleep in her car-seat and when she awoke at home she’d forgotten all about getting Jamie to change her back.

Evie spent the short time between arriving home and being dressed for bed watching nothing but Nick Jr. and My Little Pony. As much as Evie enjoyed it, she still railed against having to watch nothing but little girls cartoons. When a trailer came on for Agents of SHIELD, Evie saw her chance to watch something less girly and babyish. She clambered up to her feet, toddling off to find and tug her mommy's hand until she came to see what all the fuss was about.

"Nuh-uh-uh," Hannah shook her head when she saw the advertisement, "That's for big girls. You can watch anything you want when you're a grown up but for now you'll have to settle for cartoons."

Evie pouted. She'd seen it before and she was sure there were no scary bits that made her want to hide under her blanket or cuddle up with mommy. So why couldn’t she watch it? "I am big!"

"Not yet," Hannah chuckled. Behind her Jamie was mouthing the words "not anymore" with a jesters grin.

Evie wanted to clench her teeth in annoyance but virtually all she had left was gums and it only served to make her gums sore and eyes water. Hannah and Jamie could see that Evie was upset now and even though Jamie enjoyed teasing, she didn't want to make a little girl cry, even if she was once a chauvinistic pig of a guy.

"What about if Jamie comes and watches My Little Pony with you? It's for big girls too, y'know?" Jamie asked genuinely trying to help and sounding sincere to Hannah but making Evie suspicious.

"Yes, Jess watches it all the time, doesn't she Evie?" Hannah nodded in agreement.

Evan had laughed at his former classmate Jess and even called her a little girl for liking My Little Pony, now the shoe was on the other foot. Evie vividly remembered her chance meeting with Jess at the convention. Evie could hear her laughter clearly and she could imagine how amused she would be if she saw Evie, the little girl watching My Little Pony.

Evie hated the idea of watching the show with Jess and she equally did not want to watch it with Jamie either. Letting her was an invitation for more teasing about her fall from adulthood and loss of manhood but it was difficult for Evie not to agree. If she hadn't, she would have come off sounding like a stroppy child and not like a big girl at all and then mommy would definitely not let her watch any grown-up shows. In fact, mommy would probably say she was tired and put her to bed.

"J-jamie can watch with me," Evie reluctantly agreed, regretting her decision as soon as Jamie sprang to her feet and swooped Evie up in one arm to carry her to the couch.

Surprisingly, Jamie did very little in the way of teasing, she was almost as tuckered out as Evie, so instead she lounged on the sofa with a thumb-sucking Evie snuggled up next to her. Mommy had even given them a blanket so they were super warm and cosy whilst she went off to study. Soon, Evie was so engrossed in the show she forgot where she was and rested her head on her tormentor’s breast.

"Are you enjoying your kiddy shows?" Jamie whispered.

"No," Evie popped her thumb from her mouth and whispered back. It was a lie but she didn't want to admit to Jamie that she was happy about any part of her situation, especially that she loved her new pony toys and getting to watch the show.

"Oh? I could have sworn I heard you giggling like a little girl. If only there was a way to make you big. Then you could watch what you want," Jamie baited, fully expecting Evie to decline.

Evie absentmindedly sucked harder on the thumb in her mouth, deep in thought. She was torn. She could challenge Jamie again and she really knew she should… but if she became a guy, all her pony toys would disappear. And I wouldn't be able to watch My Little Pony 'cos that's not what big boys do and people would laugh at me but...

if I'm big I can watch what I want.

Evie's drool slick thumb slipped from her gaping mouth. She'd just had an epiphany. If I'm big I can do what want! I can stay up late and watch My Little Pony and no one will even know! And I'll have my own money to buy all the ponies! Mommy would never buy me them all anyway.

Evie giggled to herself, thinking she was ever so clever, earning her a wry look from Jamie.

"Can we pway a game so dat I can be big an' watch wot I want?" Evie blurted.

“What? Really? Aren’t you small enough already?” Jamie said, "Haven't you learned your lesson yet?"

"I don't care. I hadda 'nuff of being treated like a baby. Imma big boy and I'm gonna win! So there," Evie poked her tongue out.

"Well, you'll be a big baby soon and i'm going to enjoy treating you like one. it'll be so much fun changing your diapers and watching you crawl at my feet. For me, at least. Don't say I didn't warn you!"

Evie did her best to ignore Jamie's taunts and soon the pair were racing up stairs to Evie's room both excited at the prospect of winning.

“Okay, same rules as before. All you have to do is beat me once and I’ll change you back,” Jamie said.

She was looking forward to sending Evie back to being a real infant, only able to squirm and babble. She even thought about sending her all the way back to her mothers’ womb but the fact she wouldn’t be able to tease Evie made her reconsider. No, a breast-feeding baby would be best. Evan would have to wait five or six years at least before he had enough coordination to have a chance at beating her. Once she’s grown up again the natural way, Jamie smirked.

Evie wasn't talking. Just sitting there quietly thinking.

"What's wrong? Cold feet?" Jamie asked.

It wasn't that Evie was afraid of losing and being turned into a baby. She was sure she'd win. it was just that she'd enjoyed some of her time with Jamie. The bath, snuggling on the sofa. Even going to the convention and seeing all the cool things she liked. They had so much in common and Jamie could be really sweet when she wanted to be. Evie was afraid of losing the closeness she felt she had with Jamie if she won and turned back into Evan.

“I wuv yoo, Jay-mee. Fank yoo for bay-bee sitting me. I sowwi I woz bad. If I turwn back will yoo still go out wiv me?” Evie said, forgetting her pacifier was still firmly in her mouth.

“Oh, of course I will, honey,” Jamie smiled, for once she tried not to sound condescending, “I’m sure you’ll be much more of a sweetie now you I've taught you a lesson.”

Evie’s game collection had changed drastically after her last transformation, she no longer had Call Of Duty or Mortal Kombat or any other violent game to choose from so they ended up playing Cooking Mama 2: Cook Off. Jamie had laughed when Evie picked it and the adult part of Evie cringed with embarrassment but they went ahead and played it even if it meant Evie had to suffer Jamie’s taunting.

Evie had plenty of practice playing Cooking Mama. Evan's little cousin Emily had forced him to play when he was wrangled into babysitting her. Luckily for Evan, it was the one game Jamie hadn’t actually played in Evie's drastically reduced and dumbed down collection, being far too baby-ish for her tastes. It came as a surprise to both girls when Evie won. Evie was ecstatic. She had finally done it, she’d beaten Jamie at a game, she could turn back!

“Well played, kiddo. I guess little girls aren’t bad at videogames, hmmm?" Jamie raised an eyebrow and looked at Evie looking for an answer.

"Dere good!" Evie said.

"And don't you forget it. Now, let’s get you back in your proper body.”

Evan watched in anticipation as Jamie closed her eyes and tried to imagine Evie as Evan. She was so excited to feel the world shifting again to put her back as the adult man she should rightfully be. Evie watched the teens eyebrows furrow and the girl took a deep breath. She watched it happen again and again and still there was no cosmos shifting feeling, Nothing seemed to change at all.

“Wos going on?” Evie was worried now.

“I’m so sorry, Evie,” Jamie said, mournfully. Her face looked red from effort. “I just can’t remember what you looked like as Evan. We only knew each other for a few minutes, after-all.”

“A puh-p-picture?” the toddler asked, a tiny fraction of hope in her voice.

Jamie shook her head, guiltily. “All the pictures changed too, remember?”

It was too much for the little girl to handle. She’d won, she deserved to be an adult again. She’d been a good girl, she deserved to be a boy again. Evie started to tear up and her lip trembled cutely then she cried out “Iss not fair!” and burst into tears.

“Hi, I’m Lilly. Wanna pway?” asked a little girl with blonde pig-tails and pink dress that did little to hide her thick diaper. Evie shyly agreed, she was still getting used to playing with other little girls.

Across the room, Jamie sat on her break in the day care centre. She loved her new summer job, not least because she got to look after one child in particular. It felt amazing and powerful to watch the man she’d transformed into a little girl playing with the most babyish children’s toys. It was still just as much fun to her then as the day that she’d first decided to punish him.

She could clearly remember Evan’s smug face and how it had turned to shock when she started to change him, just as clearly as she could see her ex-classmate, Lillian’s terrified look in her eyes when she realized she was shrinking and peeing herself in front of the whole cafeteria. She pictured the grown-up Evan and Lillian, sat there, in their diapers, playing with dollies, instead of the two little girls and the thought made her smile.

Jamie knew she should feel bad for telling Evie she’d forgotten what Evan looked like, but it was just one little white lie. Besides, she’d gained a new best friend in Hannah who also seemed really happy in her new life. Jamie couldn’t just take that away from her. If it meant that Jamie got to enjoy teasing Evie then so much the better!

Maybe she would confess the truth to Evie one day… in the distant future. Of course, by then she probably would have actually forgotten what Evan was like. At least, she hoped she would...
