I LOVE this and I love the story! It's my fav Japanese Folktale. (and Studio Ghibli is making a film version of it to come out either this year, or the next.)

A brilliant piece of artwork! I love the vastness of the atmosphere it conveys. You do have a great eye for details. I also love the veiled, almost dreamlike touch that is created by the soft, almost fading textures and the tranquil colour-scheme. In a nutshell this piece features a unique visual depth I could lose myself in. Topnotch!
