A CH-47 Chinook, sometimes refered to as 'Shithook'. When I use to work at an army ammunition plant in eastern Kansas, use to see them coming flying over with simulated sling loads to practice with.

I love the title war birds (i'm not good a reading into meanings and often sound stupid in doing so but...) I like how you've put the aircraft and birds together, in a way it shows how war has developed, from carrier pigeons being a key aspect of war in ww1 and then technology taking over

Wow. I really like how this is taken through the branches. Also how it looks like the helicopter is heading towards whatever spooked the birds. It was probably the copter itself but from this angle it looks like some off camera danger. You did a really good job.
