You're right! Ants actually are farmers when it comes to aphids,
those poor little aphids, though!

Of course, they have very complex social behavior...  

They save and secure their aphids

I just learned this recently, too... they bring the aphids
into their nest, "milk" them for all their juices, then return them...
I was like... wooooah!
