actually yes.. well sort of. they are sound deflectors at an auditorium that reflect sound from the orchestra back into the crowd. (they are on the ceiling)..

i agree, its crazy how you find these things, but the image is superb. great colors...the contrast heavily but dont clash.

I was thinking "What the hell is this?!" before you explained it to someone. It looks very alien. In any case, the sound reflectors make a nice picture, in particular because of the cool, metallic-looking shields against the fiery red. Great job. The lights add to it too.
