Description

So I had some free time a couple weekends ago and decided to design what I think the starter Pokemon for Pokemon Switch could look like for fun. I then proceeded to post them anonymously as a 'fake leak'.. Honestly didn't think anyone would believe them as they don't necessarily look like the traditional Pokemon style. To my surprise though some people believed them, and some were even debating them in forums such as 4chan, twitter, and even Youtube. I was going to wait until Nintendo and Game Freak released some sort of trailer for Pokemon Switch but for all we know that might not come until May, or even E3. So here they are~

The Grass Type is based on a Silverback Gorilla and would have Grass/Dark as its final evolutions typing.
The Fire Type is based on a Zebu aka Humped Cattle and would have Fire/Electric as its final evolutions typing.
The Water Type is based on a Marine Iguana and would become Water/Dragon in its final evolution.
**Also I have been considering drawing evolutions for them as I had thought about them and even sketched out an evolution for the Water starter. Would you guys wanna see those or nah?
